Morning Glory cooking school Vietnam

With new members of Morning Groly class, the tray of condiment bowls may be to make a strong impression on them because they are are filled with many ingredients of Vietnam spices with many many exotic and colorful but some may be familiar. With Westerners, it should be the great chance for a gourmet to experience the flavor of Vietnam, it make the inspirational because they are learning the art of cooking it for themselves. And, In Morning Groly Cooking Class, Ms. Vy is our teacher, she is a chef and she will explain, one by one, how each of the vegetables and herbs are used for creating Vietnamese or ‘street food’ cuisine every day.


The owner and founder - Ms Trinh Diem Vy is a third generation chef in Hoi An, her cooking classes has featured in various publications around the world. She is a passionate woman with cooking and she has created six cooking class programs to suit all the types of interested gastronomes; from beginner, to amateur, to professional. Morning Glory has been known such as the first cooking shook in Hoi An. it has garnered a well-deserved reputation over the years for its classes.


Morning Glory cooking school and restaurant was recreated street food favorite of Ms. Vy. It was driven by a personal desire to keep local recipes alive. She said: “Street food recipes are passed on from ancestor generation to the later generation. In the case there is not family member to carry on the tradition. The recipes will be lost in oblivion. So I wish to recreate and teach dishes in Morning Glory that will keep the street food experience alive, especially foods which are special to Hoi An”. And, it is a reason of Morning Glory to survive and grow.
